There are many ways to travel from Aeroport d'Orly to the city center. Tickets are sold on the bus. You can also take the train or shuttle.
Public transport in Paris is considered very efficient and cheap. Paris has a bus network, including night buses. It also has a subway and RER, two underground systems that are connected. We recommend that you buy a discount card, if you are not using a rental car and will have to make frequent use of the public transport system. Carte Orange is a discount card that is valid on buses as well as the metro and RER networks. You can buy a monthly or weekly card. To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
