Booking through the website straightforward. Did not have to avail of the rentalcover protection, but had difficulty retrieving the certificate, probably because it was not in my name but on some easyTerra reference.

Not sure if the claim will work properly and quickly enough, despite I have opted for the full insurance package with zero excess. Of course, I would not want to do that exercise if I could avoid any damage at all cost.

Easy to use website, good value cars and the ability to cancel and/ or change the car before pick up is appreciated. However this could be improved by allowing customers to change their requirements without having to cancel then rebook. If this is an option then it needs to be more prominent. I will use EasyTerra again.

Location information for Lisbon Airport

Portela Airport in a nutshell

The airport of Lisbon is located seven kilometres to the north-east of the Portuguese capital. It was opened on October 15, 1942. After the Second World War it soon needed to expand. In 2006, it appears that the airport once more is becoming too small, due to the rapid growth of passengers and freight. At the moment there are plans to build a new airport. A final decision has, however, not yet been made.

The airport is easy to reach by car, and there are enough taxis at the airport to get the passengers to their final destination. In addition, there are also bus connections.

There are two hotels in the immediate vicinity. At the special tourist desk, you can make hotel reservations

There is a reasonable choice of shops and restaurants, and in various locations there are soda, chocolate and candy machines. There is a lounge in the arrivals terminal and behind customs, and there are two lounges in the departure terminal. These lounges all have Internet, telephone and fax facilities. Also, the airport has a First Aid station, expensive showers, ATM machines and money exchange offices.
