General information

Valencia Nord Station is the main station of the Spanish coastal town of Valencia. The station is situated right next to Valencia's famous bullring on the south side of the city center. The center and the ring are at walking distance. Valencia is the third-largest city in Spain. It's the capital of the province of the same name and the autonomous region. The city was founded by the Romans in 138 BC and is considered the birthplace of paella, one of the best-known Spanish dishes.

Transportation

Do you want to visit Valencia or the Costa del Azahar on the Mediterranean? There are two taxi stands next to the station: one opposite the ring and the other one on the Calle de Bailén. Two subway stations are directly linked to the train station. When you leave through the main exit you enter the Xátiva subway station where lines 3 and 5 stop. If you leave the station on the Calle de Bailén, you'll see the subway station of the same name on your left. Here, line 5 stops. Several city buses also leave from here.

You can also rent a car at Valencia Nord. You can choose from a large number of car rental companies. When leaving the platforms you'll see National, Avis, and Europcar on the right side of the concourse.

Services

Tickets can be bought at manned ticket offices or from ticket machines. The ticket offices are open from 6.10 a.m. until 10.10 p.m. There's also a lost-and-found desk. If you want more information about the city, you can go to an information desk for tourists and a hotel desk in the main concourse. You can store your luggage in lockers. Valencia Nord also offers restrooms, Wi-Fi, luggage trolleys, ATMs, and telephones.

Restaurants

The station offers sufficient eating and drinking facilities. There's a San Miguel bar/cafeteria as well as an ice-cream parlor, a candy store, and a croissant shop.

Shops

There are several stores including boutiques, drugstores, a lottery shop, and a bookstore.

Valencia Nord is open daily from 4.45 a.m. until 1 a.m.
