Palma de Mallorca Airport in a nutshell

The official name of the airport of Mallorca is Son Sant Joan, and it is one of the busiest of Spain. In the peak months of July and August, it is the country's busiest airport. There is one terminal, which is divided into four halls.

The airport is located eight kilometres to the east of Palma de Mallorca, and it is easy to reach by bus and car. There are no hotels at the airport, but there are plenty of hotels on the rest of this popular holiday destination.

The airport houses plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and cafés. There are 18 cafés and (snack) bars and nine restaurants, most of them serving fast food. There are two VIP-Lounges at the airport, as well as completely equipped offices and meeting and conference rooms. In addition, there are ATM machines, a post office and a First Aid station, which can be called via the general information desk.
