Car rental Record Go Mallorca Airport

They were trying to give me an "equivalent" car which they said was a corolla instead of a CR-V however I had arrived at RecordGo on a bicycle- having ridden from Palma (which was unexpectedly difficult as the rid into the car pick up wasn't really facilitated) so I needed a hatchback the size of the CR-V to fit the bike into it. They relented and gave me the car that was ordered when I persisted. The bike would not have fitted into the Corolla. Also the verbal instructions to get to the car said "go outside" to space 506- it turns out the person really didn't mean outside at all, she meant "out of this office" into the bigger building (inside). I wasted 10 minutes "outside" trying to find the car spot. However when I returned and discovered their loose use of the english language was the problem even then the car was not "inside" in the spot 506 either. Turns out it was in car spot 516 [inside the building]. Whilst a little frustrating it was 1000% better than my experience with Wiber [booked via EasyTerra] the day before. I was actually relieved to be dealing with RecordGo as my experience in Barcelona gave me confidence about their processes.

They were trying to sell their excess insurance to me which I declined but they kept pushing plus they said they don’t care what EasyTerra has to offer…
