Bologna Airport in a nutshell

The official name of Bologna Airport is Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi, after the Italian inventor of the radio, who was born in Bologna. There are two terminals (A and B) which are within walking distance of each other. The airport is located six kilometres outside Bologna and is easy to reach by car and bus. From the terminal there are shuttle buses that take passengers to the nearest hotel.

Bologna Airport has a reasonable supply of restaurants, bars and shops in both terminals. In addition, it houses a lounge and it is possible to rent a meeting room. Also, you can buy last-minute tickets and there are banks, ATM's, a post office and a First Aid station.
