“"Had booked a Nissan Qashqai to go on a winter sports holiday in Innsbruck, however, as this car wasn't available I received a Mercedes-Benz Vito 4x4 with automatic transmission. Well, I have enjoyed it for a whole week. It was however a nightmare before you were assisted at the airport. We had to wait for a long time in an unfriendly (cold) room. Anyway, you forget about that later."”
“I am happy to see that there are still companies that feel strongly about service.”
The airport of Innsbruck is the largest in the west of Austria. Especially during the winter, the airport processes large numbers of visitors to enjoy the Austria skiing areas. There is no train connection to the airport, but there is a bus to the train station in the city. The airport is located close to the A12 motorway, which means it is easy to reach by car.
There are no hotels at the airport. There is a limited number of (snack) bars and cafés in the terminal building, and of course there is also a genuine Austrian bakery. The Terminal has limited facilities for business travellers. In addition, the airport houses a bank and there are ATM's.
In the aviation industry Innsbruck Kranebitten Airport is indicated with the abbreviations INN (IATA airport code) and LOWI (ICAO airport code).
