Vigo is a large seaport in the autonomous region of Galicia in the northwest of Spain. In the past, Vigo-Guixar Train Station was only called at by freight trains for the port. While the modern Vialia Vigo TGV Station is being constructed it serves as central station. Several trains run to and from this station.
Do you want to visit the coast or the old city? Taxis and buses are available at the station. Bus lines C2, C3, C5B, L10, and L17 leave from here. If you prefer to drive yourself, you can easily rent a car at Vigo Station, for example with car rental company Europcar.
You can buy tickets at ticket offices. Vigo-Guizar Station has restrooms, a baggage room, and there are facilities for the disabled. Almost the entire station is accessible for wheelchairs; you can also rent wheelchairs and assistance is available.
In the lobby of Vigo Train Station you can find a cafeteria and a bookstore. There are more shops and eating and drinking facilities in the city center.
