My issue was that the

My issue was that the pick up address was stated as Palermo train station. I assumed this was the central station but this is not correct as I found out. Palermo station is 5 stops away and is called something else. The correct name of the train station for the pick up address would have saved me stress and time. However I called the easyterra support team and they were very helpful after they also realised the pick up address was not the central station.

Great as usual. Though for one rental I had done before I received an insurance confirmation mail from some other company regarding my extended cover and, after canceling that and rebooking something similar I did not get that email. So lack of consistency on that front.

The airport of Palermo is also known as Punta Raisi Airport or Falcone-Borsellino Airport. The latter name refers to two anti-mafia judges who were murdered in 1992.

The airport is located 32 kilometres to the west of Palermo along the A29 motorway, and it can be reached by car, bus, taxi and train. There are some hotels in the surrounding area of the airport. At the airport there is a limited shopping area, a few snack bars and a (self-service) restaurant. There is also a bank (limited opening hours), two ATM machines and a post office (limited opening hours). For wheelchair users the airport is very accessible.
