When I made the booking

When I made the booking it was indicated that the company was at the airport. The voucher didn't give any information how to get to Drive Hellas. There was a shuttle service, but that was unclear so I took a taxi. Apart from this it went smoothly.

It was noted in your website that the car rental company was in terminal but it was not. It required a shuttle bus. It was very frustrating as I was pressed with time and with two kids and was under the impression that I booked an in terminal car rental.

Athens Airport in a nutshell

Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport - the official name of Athens Airport - is a very modern airport. It was opened in 2001, and it is an important hub for the entire Balkans and the Middle East. The airport processes some 13 million passengers a year. The two terminals are connected by an underground passage. The airport is located 33 kilometres to the south-east of Athens.

Athens Airport is easy to reach, both by train, bus and by car. There is one hotel at the airport, which lies within walking distance of the terminal building, but there is also a shuttle bus.

The new airport has an extensive supply of shops, bars, cafés and restaurants. The Skyview bar offers a spectacular view of the airport grounds. There is a Business Centre, where you can rent offices with telephone, fax and a computer with Internet connection, and there are also smaller meeting rooms. There are large rooms for rent, but they have to be booked in advance. In addition, there are various locations at the airport with wireless Internet. Also, there are the usual services, including banks, exchange offices, ATM machines, a First Aid station, a pharmacy and a post office.
