Car Rental Strasbourg Train Station

General information

Strasbourg is located in the northeast of France and is the capital of the Alsace region. It's situated directly on the French-German border. Strasbourg is mainly known for the European Parliament which is partially seated here. Because of this the city is easily reachable by high-speed train from all over Europe. There are direct connections with for example Paris Est, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lille, Zurich, Munich, Frankfurt. The monumental Strasbourg Station has a unique architecture.

Transportation

Do you want to explore the city or its surroundings? The taxi stand is located on the south side of the station. Several companies provide their services. City buses and regional buses stop directly in front of the station on the station square. The city has an extremely modern streetcar system. When leaving the station you can enter the underground streetcar station on the square in front of the station. Lines A and D stop here. Line C departs from the northern side of the station on Wilson Boulevard. Do you want to rent a car in Strasbourg? You can find car rental companies on the south side of the station. You can choose between Sixt, Avis, National, and Europcar.

Services

The SNCF information desk is located in between the central entrance and the southern entrance. There are a lost-and-found desk, a police station, public restrooms, phone booths, an ATM, a passport photo booth, a machine to develop your photos, Wi-Fi, and an AED.

Restaurants

The station has a restaurant and a coffee shop. Both can be found inside the concourse. There are also a number of takeout restaurants where you can buy coffee and sandwiches (croissants) for the road.

Shops

There are two Relay kiosks, one at the northern and one at the southern entrance. They offer a large selection of newspapers, books, and magazines.
