Stockholm Arlanda Airport in a nutshell

The airport of Stockholm is located closer to Uppsala (28 kilometres) than it is to the capital of Sweden (42 kilometres). It is a very modern airport with four terminals: T2 and T5 are for international flights, T3 and T4 for Scandinavian flights. There are free shuttle buses between the terminals. Budget airlines use another airport: Skavsta Airport.

There is an underground train station which is accessible by elevator from all the terminals. The Arlanda Express will take you to the centre of Stockholm in 20 minutes. There are also trains to other destinations, for example Uppsala, Gothenburg and Trondheim. There is also a bus service every 10 minutes to the centre of Stockholm.

There is one hotel at the airport. Most shops, restaurants and (snack) bars are located in the centre service and shopping area: 'Sky City' (between T4 and T5). There is a very broad supply. The airport has a wide range if business facilities. In addition to workspaces with Internet, fax, telephone and videoconferencing facilities, there are no fewer than 49 meeting and conference rooms. There is also a large exhibition room that can be rented. In addition, there is a VIP Lounge. There are two banks and various exchange offices and cash machines. There is also a post office and children's play area. There are Internet cafés and wireless Internet in all the terminals. The airport is very accessible to disabled people.
