Foggia Station was inaugurated in 1864 and is part of the Adriatic railroad (Ancona-Lecce) and is the terminus of the railroad line from Naples. Foggia Station is a busy station and mainly used to change trains and continue traveling to the north or south of Italy. The station is situated on the Piazzale Vittorio Veneto, northeast of the city center. It was partially destroyed during World War II and rebuilt in the fifties.
Do you want to visit the city or Foggia's surroundings? You'll find taxis at the square in front of the impressive station. The bus station is nearby. Or do you prefer to rent a car to visit the surroundings? It's no problem in Foggia.
You can buy tickets from ticket offices or ticket machines and there's also an information desk for travelers. Both the railroad police and the Italian railroad have offices at the station.
There's a bar and you can also eat something at Foggia Station. In addition, you'll find a kiosk which sells magazines, newspapers, and other reading materials.
