The last few years Tallinn Airport has been extended and modernized to accommodate the increasing number of travelers to Estonia's capital.
The airport is situated only 4 kilometers southeast of Tallinn's city center. There's no train connection with the airport but an Airport Express Bus (with free internet) runs to the capital's center. There's also a (cheaper) regular bus connection. The airport lies along the highway to Tartu and is therefore easily reachable by car.
The number of shops and eating and drinking facilities at the airport has been extended the last few years. You now find a nice shopping area (including a shop with Cuban cigars) and some (snack) bars and cafés, including a sushi bar. There are some VIP lounges and the nearby Ülemiste Hotel has a business center, meeting space, and conference rooms. The airport offers free internet access through computer terminals and Wi-Fi; there's also a free Skype kiosk. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
Are there any additional costs?
Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).
