The airport of Zagreb (Zracna luka), is located at 14 kilometres from the Croatian capital. The airport is also called Pleso Airport, and it is both a military and civilian airport. In 2006, the airport processed 1.6 million passengers. To be able to handle the expected growth in years to come, many expansions have been planned, for instance a new terminal and a luxury hotel. The old terminal will then only handle budget flights. A new runway is also planned.
The airport's infrastructure will be improved with a new road and a rail connection to Zagreb. At the moment it is not clear when that will be opened. Immediately opposite of the International Arrivals hall, there is a bus station. Every half an hour between 7 am and 8 pm there is a bus to the central bus station of Zagreb. Outside of these hours there are buses that connect to the incoming and departing flights.
There are no hotels at the airport and there is a limited number of shops and places to eat and drink. For business travelers, the airport has the following facilities: a Business Lounge (fax, telephone and Internet) and three meeting rooms, which can be combined into one. There is a bank and a post office. The First Aid station can be called via the central information desk. The airport is reasonably accessible to disabled people.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
Our rates are all-inclusive. Our reservation department will inform you in advance should additional costs apply. You can always cancel your booking free of charge if you do not agree (this must be done at least 48 hours prior to the start of the car hire period).
