Charleroi Airport is located at 46 kilometers from Brussels Belgium. The airport is also called Brussels South Charleroi, but it's situated in the town of Gosselies, north of Charleroi. Charleroi handles more than 4 million travelers annually. With the arrival of several low-cost carriers, the airport has grown enormously.
There is no direct train to the airport, but there are buses. Twice per day there is a shuttle bus to and from Brussels station. Furthermore the airport is easily accessible by car. There is no hotel, but near Charleroi Airport there are plenty of places to stay overnight.
There are shops and restaurants. It's possible to use wireless internet for a fee. In the terminal you will find an ATM and a flower vending machine. To relax, there are massage chairs and you can get a (paid) tour.
