The distinction between getting full

The distinction between getting full cover offered by the rental company and full cover by an external insurance sold by Easyterra is hard to discern when booking. I find this dishonest and even though I've rented through Easyterra for many years I am now inclined to look around for a website more transparent.

Location information for Gare de Valence TGV Rhône-Alpes Sud

General information

Valence TGV Station is situated approximately 10 kilometers outside the city of Valence in the southeast of France. The station, which is officially called Valence TGV Rhône Alpes Sud, was inaugurated in 2001 and is the starting point of the high-speed rail line of the LGV-Méditerranée between Valence and Marseille. The station has a very original architecture: it was built from armored concrete and the outside is completely made out of glass. The tracks are divided over two floors. The top floor is for TER trains and the TGV trains stop at the lower level.

Transportation

Are you staying in Valence to visit the city or its surroundings? The taxi stand is located on the east side of the station near P1. Buses stop on the east side of the station. There are special shuttle buses to the center of Valence. If you have a train ticket for Valence Ville you can take the bus for free. You can also buy tickets on-site. Do you want to rent a car to continue your journey from Valence? The car rental companies can be found on P1 on the north side. You can choose from Avis, Europcar, Hertz, National, and Sixt. There are parking lots, P1 and P2, on both sides (Rhône and Alpes sides) of the station. If they are full, you can go to P4 which is at a 6-minute walk from the station. The station can be reached via the N532.

Services

Tickets can be bought inside the central concourse daily from 6.20 a.m. until 9 p.m. Do you have questions about your trip or the surroundings? There's also an information desk inside the concourse. In addition, there are restrooms, facilities for the disabled, a desk for young travelers, phone booths, an ATM, a soft-drink dispenser, a passport photo booth, Wi-Fi, and an AED.

Restaurants

Inside the concourse there's a sandwich bar where you can also buy coffee. If you have less time and need to run, you can also go to a takeout restaurant.

Shops

There's a Relay kiosk inside the concourse where you can for example buy newspapers, books, and magazines.
