Buying a ticket in the bus is slightly more expensive. Day tickets are also available.
Traffic and parking
The old city center is totally traffic free (with the exception of city buses) and therefore it is impossible to drive around. This is however not necessary, because Dubrovnik's center can be easily explored on foot, although it is rather steep here and there. Finding a parking space outside the city center is difficult, especially in the summer months most parking spaces are constantly occupied. However, your rental car is an excellent means of transport to explore the Dubrovnik area.
