Location

Pisa is located in the province of Tuscany on the Ligurian Sea. The Arno river runs through Pisa, which has its origins in the Apennines and also runs through Florence.

Economy

Tourism is very important to the city of Pisa. Its main attraction is the Tower of Pisa, which leans due to an architectural error. There is another feature in which Pisa distinguishes itself from other tourist cities: Pisa's large diversity in art. Airports

By bus or train you can travel from the city to the airport in about 5 minutes. To get from the station to the city center, take bus number 4, although there is no real need to do so, because everything in Pisa is within walking distance.

Traffic and Parking

There are big car parks just outside the center of Pisa. The car park to the north-west of the cathedral is ideal for a one-day visit to Pisa.

Hotels
