The airport of Warsaw was not built to handle the serious increase in the number of travelers, which is why a second terminal is being built. The arrival hall is expected to be complete in 2007. By the end of 2007 the entire Terminal 2 will be ready for use. In addition to these two terminals, there is a separate terminal for budget airlines. These will probably be moved to another airport in 2008.
There is no train connection with the airport. Two bus lines connect the airport with the capital of Poland. Travel time is about 30 minutes.
At the airport there is a hotel with eight simple rooms. There are a reasonable number of shops and places to eat and drink. This only applies to Terminal 1. The airport has two business lounges. There are banks, exchange offices, ATM's and many tour operator offices. In the departure hall there is a post office. First Aid can be called on by telephone.
