The airport of Antalya is the gateway to the holiday resorts on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. During the peak season the terminal building is very busy. The airport processes five million passengers a year.
The airport is located at some 17 kilometres to the east of Antalya. Travel time from the city centre to the airport is about 20 minutes. There is no train connection to the airport. There are ATM machines and public phones. In the Arrivals hall there is an exchange office, but the rates outside the airport are much more favorable. There is also a small post office.
