Kallax Airport is situated five kilometers south of the city center. By rental car the airport can be reached from the city center via highway E4. The exit to the airport is clearly signposted.
City busses run very frequently. There are also several regional busses that connect the surrounding villages with Luleå. During weekends night busses run (until 03.00).
During working days you must pay to park your car in the street in the city center. There are also several parking lots and garages in and around the city center. If you visit Luleå in winter months, beware of the sometimes severe weather conditions. Adjust your driving accordingly!
