Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport in a nutshell
The local people usually refer to Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport as Surcin Airport, after the town where it is located. The airport has two terminals: T1 is the old terminal that is used for domestic flights, T2 is a brand new terminal for international flights.
There is no train connection to the airport. The airport is located 18 kilometres from the city centre, and there is an hourly shuttle connecting the airport to the centre of Belgrade.
At the airport there are no hotels. There are a limited number of shops and places to eat and drink. The airport has no extensive business facilities (yet). There is, however, a VIP Lounge near Gate 22. At the airport there are banks, exchange offices and cash machines, and there is a post office as well. In the arrival hall there is a First Aid station, which you can call via one of the information desks. Also, there are baby rooms. The new international terminal building is very accessible to disabled people.
