Eindhoven (Welschap) Airport was originally an air base, but has grown considerably in recent years mainly due to budget airlines. The military part of the airport is still called Welschap, but for civil aviation the airport is called Eindhoven Airport.
There is no train connection to the airport. However, a bus goes to Eindhoven Central Station four times per hour. Travel time is approximately 20 minutes.
