Windhoek International Airport in a nutshell

Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport is the most important airport of Namibia, and it is located at 42 kilometres from Windhoek. The airport is used exclusively for international flights. Domestic flights are processed by a smaller airport closer to Windhoek.

There is no train connection with the airport. Buses depart to the combine taxi and bus station in the centre of Windhoek.

There are no hotels at the airport. There are a few shops at the airport and there is only one restaurants/snack bar with 40 seats. There are limited business facilities. In the departure hall, next to customs, there is a VIP Lounge. In the arrival hall there are ATM machines and two exchange offices. The airport is accessible to disabled people.
